VIP Company History and Mission

VIP was founded in 1985 as a fan manufacturing company, building on a significant experience in the design and construction of electric motors and axial fans, active since the 1960s.

The production of axial fans started in 1987 and then the first series of three-phase and single-phase asynchronous motors took shape, specifically designed for the production of high-performance compact axial fans.

In the early 90’s VIP became involved in an increasingly demanding and evolved market. It was during these years that it established itself as a manufacturer capable of working alongside its customers in the design process, creating a synergy that is difficult to reproduce in the usual technical and commercial practices.

VIP’s constant growth over time has always been the result of important strategic intuitions, of the desire to respond ever more efficiently to the demands of a market that was inevitably changing. The decision to invest in research and development and in the creation of a testing laboratory as early as 2002 with the purchase of the first test bench are concrete evidence of this.

In 2012 the new energy saving regulations impose a further strategic choice that is fundamental for the future of the company: the approach to new technologies applied to new generation Brushless electric motors and the consequent use of dedicated electronic drivers. The ability to design and produce the electronic components at the heart of the future generation of fans therefore becomes fundamental.

In this context, the acquisition of E-motion Control, a company with great experience in the design and management of production linked to power electronics, takes shape.

With this acquisition, VIP entered a market that until then had been the domain of large international groups, guaranteeing a future as a protagonist. The creation of dedicated software, components for regulation and sensors are now the concrete result, the answer to the many needs for efficiency and savings of manufacturers.

The design, manufacture and marketing of products, processes and solutions for applied aeraulic, which are mainly used by companies or manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigeration machines. Particularly demanding applications, constantly evolving, with ever more precise requirements in terms of energy saving and noise issues.
