Dr Babatunde Olarinde

Dr Olarinde is a general adult psychiatrist with an interest in the management of various conditions using medications and therapy leaning towards an existential and solution focused therapy.

Dr Olarinde has many special interests all with the aim of improving his patients overall well-being including: Psychopharmacology, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused Grief Therapy and Existential Psychotherapy Approach. He collaborates with his patients experiencing various mental health conditions such as psychotic, mood and anxiety disorders, addictions and eating disorders as well as personality disorders to develop a treatment plan to achieve their goals. These goals may be achieved quickly, or lifelong management may be required.

Dr Olarinde is a fellow of the RANZCP. He has a keen interest in the philosophy of psychiatry and he enjoys spending his free time watching movies and listening to music. He welcomes both outpatient and inpatient referrals.
